Should Someone Receiving Welfare Be Drug Tested?

If the person receiving welfare can pay for drugs, they shouldn't be given money to buy more. Welfare is for a family that actually needs the money to support themselves. Think about this, if people that actually work for money get drug tested, someone that gets money for free should as well. Families that receive welfare might not even be supporting their children.

I absolutely, 100% agree. Seeing that the biggest welfare recipients in U.S. history are the TBTF banks and Wall St. traders, no doubt we should drug test all of them.
I wonder what drug we'll find?
When do we start?

They should be drug tested but their ability to receive welfare should not be conditioned on the results of the test. The testing should be used for public health initiatives intended to rehabilitate the welfare recipient.
