As someone who regularly votes 3rd party, I totally agree that this is how it feels

Funny because I was told if I vote 3rd party, I'm really voting for Trump or Cruz. But what if we both vote for Johnson? How will they parse out which of those votes was my vote for Trump and which of the was your vote for Clinton?

i really don't think that's "voter apathy" at all. "voter apathy" doesn't care. what they described was someone who is a supporter of the status quo, whatever that is.
in fact, what that story basically says is "hey guys, lets stop eating all this shit, VOTE TRUMP!!! he'll build the wall so we can reach the coconuts!"

Unless you are a delegate or a member of the EC, your vote means zero, nothing zip, nadda. The will of the people is out the window as usual.
