Who is Stopping Funding of Homeland Security, Now?

Obama should let the department go without funding. It's a terrible department that shouldn't exist.

Of course, he obviously wants it to be funded since he's no better than his predecessor about expanding the security state.

Having homeland security and secretly placing illegal's seems a bit contradictory. We already have plenty of homeland security. Its called the police and national guard (if needed). FBI, CIA etc, for back up. What they need to do is have the pecking order of who is calling the shots. Problem now is they all want to be top dog.

TSA falls under Homeland Security. FEMA falls under Homeland Security. So does the Secret Service. The US Coast Guard. So it is a lot more than Border Security and Immigration Customs Enforcement.

this is once again proof of the notion that we have two parties in Congress.
the party in power, and the party of "no"



in this particular case, the minority is holding up business the majority has decided on.
the Democrats are now the obstructionist party.. the party of "no'.

if people were capable of holding each party to identical standards, we would probably get somewhere, but as is perfectly evident, double standards are how we do business.
it's now simply a matter of role reversals.... the same double standards apply, only the parties are in different positions.
Democratic minions will support their party no matter what, Republican minions will support theirs no matter what...and minions are never capable of equal application of standards.
