The man with the large black backpack actually fits the description of the suspected perp fairly well. According to what I have heard, it was a male with a dark-grey to black hoodie or jacket and white baseball cap, along with overall tracksuit to fit in with the runners participating in the event.

Out of all of the pictures, not a single one can see the 8 year old boy either. Not to mention the explosion happened well behind the fence yet the media seems hell bent on showing bags next to the trash can.
