It is a “big mistake” for Israel to minimize the delivery by Russia of the S300 antiaircraft system to the regime of President Bashar al-Assad in Syria, declared former UN Ambassador John Bolton in a radio interview today. “I think that it is important to understand that if and when the S300s do arrive, both radars and missiles, and are put in competent hands, that this really is a game-changer,” said Bolton. “I think it’s a big mistake for the Israeli leadership, the political class, to say that the S300s are not a problem,” he said.

Bolton was speaking on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio. Just an FYI. And, no I'm not a military expert. I have no clearances, nor am particularly learned about these matters. Just passing on information I just learned.

Spoke with a former naval aviator (1-year retired, specialized in tactical theater operations, AWACS, and theater warfare oversight) about what we'll end up doing in Syria. He thinks we'll do air strikes on any hard targets (military bases, convoys, etc.) fairly soon. He said that we will not have too much to worry about concerning Syria's air defenses. They might be the best that Russia has to offer, but Russia is several years behind the US nowadays. In fact, even further behind than they were during Desert Storm. We will knock out those that we need to, and avoid the others.

they don't have them, and if they did, they couldn't stop israel, which uses US aircraft for the most part. stop clinging to this sinking ship of an argument.
