Oh this whole thing is a f**k circus. Absolute circus. After the first day the media must have got a phone call from the White House that was like "oh hey, initiate misdirection Plan sigma alpha 103".

Instead of even discussing the ethical issues and proper role of government, the media is running around chasing Edward Snowden and talking about how astonished everybody is that the rest of the world is reluctant, and defiant toward turning the guy in.

Oswald Spengler predicted this decades ago in his magnum opus The Decline of the West- he called the media intellectual artillery saying that democracy is simply the political weapon of money, and the media is the means through which money operates a democratic political system. In reality, freedom of the press requires money, and entails ownership, thus serving money at the end- and where does this money come from? A collusion of politicians and big business.
