Bah, go ahead and martyr him. How many martyrs do "they" have to choose from nowadays? Hundreds? Thousands? What's one more.

I think the guy is paralyzed so yeah, that is probably a distinct possibility.

I bet his sorry ass is still on the payroll. My sentance for him = shot at sunrise, covered by Al Jazeera.

I think the sad thing here is it took this long to get this to trial. 2009 and just now in 2013 do we finally have a conviction. Its not like there was doubt over what happened or anything. This could have gone to trial 1-2 months after the incident and they would have the same damn results. So we pay him for 4+ years to sit in jail after killing 13 people and we pay the people he injured nothing.

What a great system we have!
