I think its a good thing he killed himself, if more long term convicts killed themselves it would be easier on the system. If I was facing a long jail term or eventual execution, Id do a Goering and kill myself with dignity.

Life + 1000 years? Seriously, what were they (the court) trying to say by doing that? Life + one day works just as good, but who really knows? Just hope in all the fine print legal mumbo jumbo, the state (taxpayers) arn't kept on the hook for 1000 years for incarceration fees,lol.
