The students were all 16 or older. It's still wrong for a teacher to ever have sex with underage students but I look at this a little differently - 16 is the age of consent in Utah. I think she should be in trouble but not this much. And yes I would say the same if you reversed genders. If the student is over 16 still bad but not as horrific.

Minimum of two years, thirty years is the max. No way she does the max, and I bet she doesn't do more than the minimum (already done 6 months) plus maybe a year.
