Also what is the actual link between agriculture and technology? I consider that a baseless supposition and here's why:
Technology began as figuring out ways to hunt more efficiently. It could be argued that we might have better technology and a greater understanding of the natural world if we wouldn't have adopted agriculture? Certainly our knowledge of physics began from the study of ballistics related to atlatl, slings, and archery. That's inarguable.
So add up people having more leisure time and having a better understanding of science and technology. What is the result?
That's right, a better society.
