Dude, he probably doesn't even know anything about any of that stuff. The military and spooks take care of all that. He's not the real power in this country.

Dude, he's only there for a few years. He's not really the one running things. We plan stuff decades in advance, they just follow the program.
Do you think the guy is some kind of Napoleon or something? What does he know about military tactics and strategy? He is a lawyer who doesn't know anything he hasn't read in a brief. The truth is no one man could control this system. It's far to complex and they would have be expert in dozens of fields to understand it all well enough to grasp an overview of the situation much less control every aspect of it.
