Oh, and for the record I think making taxpayers pay for this surgery is ridiculous. I certainly don't support that. But this thing about "once in prison, they need to be punished" just pushed the wrong button for me.

I'm with Dylan here. I much rather have the bench defer to the experts as opposed to making decisions themselves regarding topics they know nothing about. (shudder)
