I agree with Boris. I've actually had outrageously expensive steaks and meals and the taste (and especially the measly size) just doesn't correlate with the price. It's just a con that sucks in people who are so dumb they think that just because something is expensive it therefore must be greatly better than anything cheaper. It's not too different from the girls who pay a bill and three fourths for an ugly pair of boots. It's not really about quality, it's about status and self-aggrandizement. It's transparent and pathetic.
Food is made with the same ingredients. Surely there are better quality foods and there are reasonable price ranges that reflect this. There is, however, a limit, beyond the limit you find what Boris begins to describe.
