ffs how does somebody "hide behind an objective lens" and what in the world is wrong with being objective?

Being objective in and of itself isn't a bad thing, it's the strict and excessive adherence to any policy or procedure couched in objectivism that gets tiresome.
I.E. Ideological Rigidity and an inability to see beyond a given philosophy'/theory' constraints.

There is nothing worse than people who want to ruin a good time because they feel everyone needs to be bitter as hell about some perceived wrong. It's like the feminist who can't watch an action movie without pointing out all the sexism. It is just straight up annoying.

I'm not ruining anybodies time. You're perfectly free to celebrate. I however, don't feel that we should be celebrating today considering recent actions. The only way to get noticed is to disrupt the norm (not that I'm trying to do that necessarily). Which is why some people around the country are protesting today.
