I really don't think ti's as much of a race issue, which is why i seriously find dontworrybehappy's post funny as hell, because i don't think race in itself is the main issue, but more of a socioeconomic issue.
It's not so much that he's black but how he presents himself. I'm black and i have to tell you if a black guy was walking around my neighborhood with the wrong look at night i'd probably be cautious.
ON the other hand, as I've said in other threads I used to have a very bad drug problem and I was given chance after chance, to this day I don't have a record and that is for no other reason than I clean up well and I am presentable, I"m a pretty boy lol. I can't tell you how many tickets, searches, i've talked myself out of just because I present well. I don't look like trouble. I once got pulled over and had the police officer searched my car i'm pretty sure i'd still be in jail now and this was 9 years ago.
So the real question to me is not black or white but I mean, I am not even completely sure how the kid was dressed but the real issue is that black culture, or better stated urban culture scares middle america. Rightfully or Wrongfully that's the real issue, not race per say
