Judge grants sex change for inmate

Until he can make restitution for the crime he has committed, say pay money to the family members of the murdered person, pay for all legal and court costs otherwise would not have been incurred due to his crime, he should not receive money from the state or from the tax payers for this stupid sex change. The judge is not thinking correctly.

Some would have denied it -- but some wouldn't. However, almost all would cover the (perhaps much more expensive) psychiatric care, and (as in this case) the medical expenses associated with self-immolation (attempted castration) and attempted suicide.

I'm not sure it wouldn't be cheaper to just get the sex change.

Gonna get flamed for this. Pretty sure suicide would be far cheaper. Solves a lot of problems and allows the idiot the one ultimate choice we should all have.

The point is to reward them for following their program. Not so they can luxuriate in your tax dollars.

If they followed all of the rules of the institution for a year how would you reward that? Remember these guys are going to be in here for a very long time. Giving them some popcorn and letting them watch a movie is not much of an incentive.

You gotta have some kind of carrot and that's what you guys want to take away.
