Yo PoS! Guns in Manila

I'm slowly bringing the girlfriend round to the idea that she should get a firearms license so I might build the arsenal of which I have always dreamed. So PoS once she gets the permit from where to buy her guns?

And PoS and anyone else in the know.... what should she buy?

She can go to any gunstore and buy, they usually set her up with the license there. Just be sure she doesnt use the gun on you...

For wimmen (I have a feeling you'll be using it too) probably start off with a .38 revolver or a 9mm auto. Norinco makes very good copies of SIG 9mm and they are cheap. Taurus is slightly more expensive but their quality is hit or miss. More popular brands like SIG, H&K, Glocks, etc. get pricier. Also the license allows you to keep the gun at home only, you need a permit to carry (separate license- hell of a racket they got) if you want to lug it around (and no you cant go to bars or malls even with that).

Cool. We're gonna go to Armscor either in Marikina or Makati a week on Saturday to shoot some guns. Will have her inquire there.

Have fun! Its a great hobby but gets expensive if you decide to shoot hundreds of rounds at a time.

So if you want to take the gun from your home to the range you need another license??

First time my X took me out shooting I "accidentally" hit the target. He couldn't understand how I made the shot since the site was off. He didn't realize that I didn't know what a site was, so I just aimed down the barrel. Oops. Then he gave me his handgun and I barely missed a much smaller target from the same distance. I adjusted and barely missed on the opposite side of the target. I guess getting that close was still pretty good because he got this weird look in his eyes and took the gun away saying that since the bullets were hollow points they were expensive and that was a clear chest shot so it would "Get the job done". He also would brag about what a good shot I was to his friends and guys just don't do that easily round these parts especially to go a far as to say she is a better shot than he is.

I found out what the "weird" look in his eyes was about a few years later. Pro Tip: Don't teach you wife/woman how to shoot your guns when you are cheating on her especially if you already know she has a problem with her temper. STUPID!!!!!
