the cops used to come over to the vietnamese neighbors all the time, maybe once a month. since they moved haven't seen the cops much at all, although i thought about it for another neighbor. he has some rage issues, and someone else called the cops on his illegally parked trailer and he got a ticket and was screaming and throwing things, ended up breaking the window on his trailer. this at like 1am. the guy has some serious issues. anyway, his trailer was annoyingly parked in front of a stop sign that already is kinda a shitty intersection and he made it a lot worse, so he deserved it. still i didn't do it, but i was greateful someone did.

of course, none of this has anything to do with whether or not i would call the cops if i thought my friend was about to get raped at that moment and the last words i hear from him is "get off, get offf!!!!" and not in a good way before the phone goes dead, as she has indicated both she and martin feared that he was being stalked by a rapist. i mean that's an entirely different situation to 10 people being loud in the street, doing you think
