Women have an inferior social position in the western culture as well. Do you think a division of labor between men and women is ok? How come the woman always has to be the "wife"?
They only accept an inferior position because they are acculturated to it. Same as what happens in the Middle East. It's simple, if you don't like their rules don't go there.
