we don't need that speed limit because getting to the next town over isn't like traveling from germany to france.

NYS Truway the speed limit is 65... But almost everyone travels 75-80mph.. My psrents live upsate, so we got up often.. I set the cruise on 77-78 and let her go..
But in NYC? You got to be crazy to own a car, let alone drive one.. It just makes no sense.. The city is hundreds of years old, it was NOT built for the automobile.

new york has too much terrain for that to even be viable

I kinda like living in Ohio. People are like, 'you're from Ohio? Where is that?" and then nobody has to deal with my state is the best state derpiness.
I've visited DC, NYC, Chicago, Boston, and San Antonio (among many others) and I'd have to say Chicago was my favorite so far. Though I'd like to go back to NYC again when there isn't a god damn blizzard.
