i used to like blue moon and shock top when i wanted a fruity-ish beer for the heat but since having leinenkugels summer shandy i've never looked back.

it's alright. if someone had it or i went to a bar whose idea of a microbrew was blue moon i'd drink it. but otherwise it's pretty inferior.

i think the key to drinking beer is drinking it close to home. blue moon, coors and fat tire in Colorado do not taste like blue moon, coors, and fat tire in Minnesota.
