Markets can be, and probably are manipulated to create shortages. In the oil market, actual supply and demand does not flucuate that fast to justify wide swings (mostly up) in price. Their continued near record, or record profit isn't even an issue anymore. But hell, we can all just pay more for everything. Afterall, this is America, the land where everyone has a million bucks in the bank,-- don't they, lol.
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.

I've seen people defend some odd things in my lifetime, but this is near the top as one of the worst. You literally are defending people being ripped off. There's no if, and or buts. You defend and support it as good business. The aluminum shipments being delayed due to unforeseen circumstances is one thing, purposely delaying them to turn a profit is disgusting. Why do you defend this? Why do you defend TBTF banks in the other thread?
