Good for Manning, I also hope snowden is made a national hero. Why? Because he is. Catching a spider in its own web is about what this comes down to. Well, unless you like being spied on 24/7/365.

Well you would think that a military guy would get it even worse than a civilian so I'm unclear why Snowden would go to jail for life when Manning clearly is not.

manning, he was a member of the military who took and then released a bunch of actual documents that put lives and us policy in danger about how the us interacts with other nations, such as state department cables

snowden, he published some powerpoints on what the us is doing to troll for data on the internet and how that impacts us citizens.

manning is a traitor and he deserves nothing short of death, and it's very different than what snowden did
