Does this really matter? Aiding the enemy would get him life, but he was found guilty of 5 counts of what amounts to espionage, making the maximum sentence 136 years.

Point being, the government is going to put this guy away for a long f**k time. He didn't really beat anything, although i guess in terms of precedent this could be kind of beneficial for later spies.

Exactly, Charai. I pretty much agree with this ruling. The "aiding" thing was nebulous. But, he admitted releasing classified documents. And, he'll get life in prison (136 years for the guilty verdicts, plus 20 for what he already pled guilty to).

Snowden admittedly released classified documents. He should also get life in prison.

And, both of the programs that they exposed should be investigated by Congress.

Yea, if you break the law, and you are convicted accordingly, you serve the time. period. Doesn't matter if you are JP Morgan or Martin Luther King. God bless this country.

It's funny to watch both parties, especially Republicans, bounce back and forth between "Don't trust the government! Snowden is a hero!" and "MAYWNING IS A TRAITOR AND I WANT TO KILL HIM WITH A SPOON!" The cases are different, but the effect was the same.
