This rampant constitutionalism is overrated. Again and Again and Again we have been shown that a 250 year old manuscript isn't going to keep us safe from the government. That's something we all must do on our own as active and informed citizens.

I'm sick of stupid people running around yelling about the constitution like it's magic. You want the government to promise they will follow the constitution? Yea, im sure that will be worth a lot. Stop trying to abandon your responsibilities as a citizen by putting faith in government promises or a piece of paper in some DC vault. The only thing that can protect you from governmental abuse of powers is we the people. Stop voting like an asshole the the government will stop treating you like an asshole.
