Artificial Libertarian Island

OK, got some real-life questions about this libertarian island:

- What happens when a rich citizen has reached the age of retirement, and someone steals all of their wealth? Do you kick them out of the colony, or take care of them?

- What happens when a disaster occurs (rogue wave, hurricane, drought, fire) that wipes out the majority of productivity of the island, yet leaves most inhabitants alive - do you beg another country for help, abandon the island, or die? Or am I missing a choice?

- What happens when a disease occurs amongst your children that is unique to your island, the cure is very expensive, and very few individual families are able to afford the cure, but the community as a whole would be able to afford to cure the entire population of children?

Perfection cannot and will not exist. Maybe snowflakes. But that's pretty much it.

Somebody is going to eventually ruin anything and everything. It's inevitable. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later.

But that doesn't mean it should not exist or never exist.

There is the Free State Project.

We live where we live because some people thought they could have a better life elsewhere, not under a government thumb.
