Congrats man. Not easy to get a government gig in todays economy. Plus, those high school kids on the soccer team will be really happy to have a coach that knows something about soccer and has a passion for it. I remember I had a high school coach that knew and cared little for the game and it kinda sucked but hey public schools don't pay enough to bring in someone proper. Always a huge bonus if there is a teacher like you that knows something about the game and is willing to coach. Better brush up on that espanol ese, will probably do you wonders teaching and coaching at a public school in Texas. Good way to set yourself apart professionally as well.
