Climbing inside the structure isn't so bad (I wouldn't think - never actually done it, though). Once I'd have to go outside and climb on those skinny-ass pegs sticking out one side from the pipe - eff that!
My office is on the 26th floor. We had a window washer outside it the other day. He had a single rope that was tied to some old wooden plank that he was sitting on. He was tied to the rope, too, but it was still a single rope. No double rope or extra safety rope. I saw him later inside the building and mentioned it. He said that people approach him all the time about how they'd never do it. His favorite line was when a police officer told him, "Dude, I've got a gun. But you got BALLS!"
