The only danger of AQ running Syria is if we support the rebels and help the Wahhabists defeat Assad's coalition of Alawites, religious minorities, and secularists.

The outcome of the wahhabist cause in Syria is not something that concerns me over much.

And really, there wouldn't be a problem in Syria if there weren't outside forces in the country fomenting civil war. The state forces in this conflict represent a coalition of oppressed minorities that have historically existed in the region and which will be eradicated post haste if the wahhabist cause triumphs there.

The Alawites, Christians, and secularists of Syria are literally fighting for their lives against an extreme religious movement that is seeking political control of the area and that we are supposedly at war with but seem to be inexplicably helping here.

That is seven kinds of f**k up dude. I won't ever support or tolerate that. I'm supporting whatever political force arrays itself against this kind of crap in the upcoming elections and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. I'm tired of this bullshit and do not want to have anything to do with further war mongering.
