Bullying is the result of a social pattern that rewards and encourages selfishness and aggression.
Children learn by watching.
Unfortunately what they are mostly watching is a stunted form of social relations consisting of mainly financial transactions between alienated individuals rather than proper socialization in a community that places value on the well being of each individual human and their ability to self actualize.

If kids could learn math, science, history, etc, as fast and well as they learn the pecking order of tennis shoes, they would all be freakin genius's.
