This is why I stopped caring about NCAA Football.

Dez Bryant gets half a season for talking to Primetime
AJ Green gets 4 games for a jersey
USC loses 2 years because of something out of their control simply because they didn't want to be bullied by the NCAA
Terrell Prior? Longer suspension and same for the other Ohio State dudes.
Etc.

But because it's the SEC and he's the QB of the team that beat Bama, he doesn't get suspended (he got a time out, not a suspension). I'm over the favoritism, I'm over the politics, and I'm over NCAAF. It's a corrupt organization and has taken all the fun out of watching it.

A single half in an inconsequential game is f**k bullshit.

Gone in a decade? I hope you're right but I have my doubts.

Then again, I don't know how much longer football will survive. More than a decade, but I expect it to disappear by the time I'm cashing SS checks.

I remember years ago an ex-player saying on TV if the NFL wants to get rid of head injuries just make the players play without a helmet.. No helmet means they can't use their heads/helmet as a weapon.. Drastic, but it does make some sense.

Anyway I'm guessing but IMO in 4-5 years there will be a major development in football equipment.. Some kind of new and improved helmet that will drastically reduce concussions.. A few months ago I heard talk of a SOFT outside shell helmet being developed..

As for the NCAA I kicked them to my curb 20+ years ago.. There is no more corrupt, BS organization in the country.. They are a complete joke, and have been for years.

I don't ever remember the Aggies getting this much air time when they were in the BIG 12. One year in the overrated SEC and they're the talk of the town.
