no i seem to think life is life where kids kill themselves because no one had any authority to stop them from being abused for their entire life by their peers.

Generally, teenagers are miserable human beings. Humanity should create a teenager stasis field that only allows them out when they turn 18. Maybe 20. Kind of a reverse Logan's Run.
