But it's true, too. Had USC just did what the NCAA wanted, they'd have gotten a sweeter deal like Ohio State did with Tressel. What he did was FAR worse than what USC did (which was being oblivious, not activist) and OSU got a better deal simply because they sucked up to NCAA. The NCAA stuck hard on USC out of spite/revenge. It was when the OSU ruling came down after USC's ruling that I quit college football. That one really opened my eyes to the bullshit that went on behind the scenes.

Hell, the PSU thing upset me as well. They should have had a generational ban but didn't. This Manziel thing is just another nail. And I also abhor how badly they exploit these kids.

Look, USC might be the best team this year (they aren't but play hypothetical) and I don't care, anymore. I might still watch USC to see the players develop and everything, but I just don't care if they go to a bowl game or whatever. And I'll watch some occasional matchups for the players themselves and the quality of the game but I won't care about winning/losing. The NCAAF sucked the life out of me when it comes to their league.

I'm not kidding, I'm done with the league until they radically change.

I heard somewhere today that the NCAA still believes the death penalty they gave to SMU was wrong, and they overreacted. It did much more harm then good.. So now they are always siding on the side of caution. (an excuse IMO)

I don't know.. I do know that some of these football programs are out of control, and to be honest criminal.. SMU or not Penn state should have been SHUT DOWN.. The NCAA should have shown no mercy, but they did.. And if we look at other programs, they are probably dirtier.. Bit the NCAA looks the other way..

The NCAA a BS organization. And it has been for 20+ years.. I use to be a big college basketball and football fan.. Now? I haven't watched a college game in many, many years..
