Rant about smart phones

Y'all are right. If you are using your iPhone as intended, without a want or need to modify or do special things, then an iPhone is for you. In fact, I recommended them for both my parents.

For me, an iPhone is like the subway. If your goal is simply to get to work and back, and have no interest in doing anything special along the way, then the subway is for you. But, if you plan on making sidetrips, take pleasure in owning a car that you can modify to your own tastes, etc., then Android is the way to go.

You can jailbreak it and probably do that. But I have no need since the battery life works well for me and the phone performance is great. Sound is great too. Absolutely no problems for me.

Can you save documents directly to your iPhone for later retrieval? If you go on a business trip, and you need several large PDF files or other files, can you hook your phone up to your computer, treat your phone as an external hard drive, and drag-and-drop files to your phone for retrieval from the phone when you get where you are going?

Can you access all of your Office 365 files and e-mail without having to download 365 onto a PC first?

Can you share a song from iTunes with all 6 of your family members?

Can you expand the memory on your iPhone up to 128GB by installing an SD card?

Can you use the same charger as your wife's blackberry, your video camera, your Bluetooth device and almost every other device out there nowadays?

Can you carry an extra $10 battery with you as a backup for when your phone dies?

Can you tell the phone to default to Chrome or Firefox instead of Safari?

Can you play full 1080p video?

Can you get rid of the default app icons on the home screen and replace them with icons that you actually use most often?

PLus this thing is indestructible and the find my iphone feature has saved my ass about a dozen times now.

Idk man, honestly I'm not sure my phone could improve much more. Pretty much does everything I want it to. It's to the point where I'm not even planning on upgrading simply because its not necessary and there is nothing wrong with my current one.
