I'm not going to say he's perfect and acting properly, because he's obviously making some mistakes in his manners, however he's not the demon the media are making him out to be. ESPN, in particular, has been terrible about their accusations. Like the whole supposed motion/remark of him saying "I'm not giving you an autograph" - the player he was talking to even tweeted that Johnny just said "hey Nick, nice hit!" or something to that effect. So everyone is just assuming the worst of him in anything that comes up.
He's no Tim Tebow, that much we know. He's got some maturing to do, no doubt. But the way he's being painted right now is really unfair. The guy has done a lot of charity work, including visiting kids with cancer in hospitals.
