Ya, unemployment of college degree holders isn't bad at all. Its everyone else.
A lot of the problem is that employers are not willing to train anyone anymore. They can't be bothered. You come out of the box with years of experience and the requisite skills or you don't get the job. Its another reason younger people are so badly screwed.

We don't have any shortage of unskilled labor. The problem isn't too much education, its the wrong kind of education. We need to be putting a significant number of people into vocational training as opposed to academic. Right now there is a huge amount of snobbery directed at two year degrees. The attitude is its a 4 year degree or nothing. Its stupid.
