Sure. Just pointing out that a lot of people believe in a lot of things. We don't get to decide which or what has any more value than anything else. Could be that people end up feeling a lot better after the demons have been removed. If they think its money well spent, more power to them. People make millions of dollars from posting videos of themselves playing with their lapdogs on youtube. Whatever creams the collective twinkie.

I see what you mean, but I have to question the values of a society that grants enormous access to resources based on how cute someone's cat is or how good they can play basketball.

Not only is this utterly pointless, it's squandering valuable resources and interfering in the full self actualization of most adults in our society while creating a totally unrealistic world view about prosperity and what that actually entails.
