Saying real conversations with real people could possibly be less or equal to watching fake conversations between fake people is retarded though. I mean there is no way around it. You talking about the last chick you banged to your friends has more value than watching Breaking Bad and The Wire combined. To your life, to your relationships, to your development as a social animal.
You can apply this to media itself. The Wire has more value than Honey Boo Boo. Learning a workout from TV has more value than sitting there watching contestants try to swallow pig testicles. Gaining skills has more value than watching other people demonstrate skills. Why? One might actually affect your body and mind, the other is "just" entertainment, meant to be consumed and then shat out.
I mean, the fact that you would refer to interpersonal relationships as just another form of entertainment speaks volumes.
