I very, very seldom complain about food or service..

When it comes to restaurants I vote with my wallet.. Bad service or food means a much smaller tip(but I always leave a tip).. And because everyone has bad days I will always give a restaurant a 2nd chance, if it is bad the 2nd time then I never ever go back.

There's 4-5 restaurants around where I live that I won't ever go to again because I had 2 bad experiences with them.. There's plenty of other restaurants to pick from.

There's an Italian Restaurant not too far from us that makes everything fresh.. From scratch. Nothing is frozen.. The food is just like your Italian grandmother use to make.. If you order Lasagna you're going to wait 45+ mins for it.. They make it and bake it the old fashion way.

BUT the service isn't great.. You don't get service with a smile. You usually want to order TWO or THREE drinks at once, because if you don't you're probably not going to see your waiter again for 30 mins or so, so you gonna be dry.

Even though their service isn't good the place is usually packed because everyone within a 25 mile radius know their food is to die for. A place like that? Because the food is fabulous and even though the service isn't great, we've been back many times..
