Electoral college changes

I would say the states that aren't in swing should just be motivated to do this on their own but since we're always thinking about the next election it will always face partisan opposition, and usually from the party that controls that state's government.

Yep. But none of these "states rights" advocates want to address how their beloved Electoral College makes a majority of states irrelevant in presidential campaigns.

The confusion about the electoral college is a great indicator of how very little people know about the government that was actually set up by the constitution.

The President and Congress really shouldn't have much impact on the general populace, but rather the interactions of states. The state is where you should be focused on representation for your individual needs. You want your state represented as equally as possible at the federal level so that your state needs are met.

People love monarchy I guess.
