I hate how they always blame violent video games for these shootings. I play violent video games all the time and I've yet to successfully kill anyone.
The reason he played video games is that it's a relatively cheap form of entertainment. You're not going to find someone struggling financially to be engaged in many costly activities.

Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

I think the interesting issue here is why a guy who had been treated for what sounds a hell of a lot like schizophrenia was allowed to legally purchase guns.
