The Tick with Patrick Warburton was some of the best comedy writing in the history of TV, but it was cancelled after 9 episodes because STUPID

Honestly, I thought the way the writers didn't shy away from Cylon issues was the best thing about the show. They plowed straight into questions about wether or not the cylons are persons, whether its acceptable to torture or even rape them...even if those acts count as such. Adding reproduction into it just stirs the pot that much more. The idea of a semi-sentient fighter craft that gets "killed" repeatedly and keeps coming back more pissed off is also pretty damn cool imo.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I still preferred the silly fun of Firefly.

Firely was really special. Only 13 episodes tho...so its hard to stick on too high of a pedestal.

It was one of the very best comings together of a great cast, great writing, and great world building that I can think of. You can tell how much fun the people making the show were having when you watched it. Can't put a price on that.
