So one of my favourite aspects of this game is the character switching. When characters are working together on a heist, it is so cool to be able to pick your job as it goes down. For instance, I played as Michael for the actual robbery, than switched to Franklin so I could do the getaway driving.
Planning the heists is also fun. Choose the style, choose your crew, and execute. Gives you a real sense of control.
Another awesome addition is that of the stock markets and real estate markets. Offing CEOs and then picking up their companies stock dirt cheap in the ensuing market panic... it's just cool. And becoming a business owner is neat and gives you more to work towards.
Overall, this game impresses the hell out of me. My fear was that the formula of the game would be stale - they have changed it enough to make it interesting, while preserving all that made it great in previous iterations.
Oh, and the mini-games are fun as hell.
