The national anthem promulgates a sexist culture in which the horrors you listed occur routinely. It seems logical that if you wanted to attack a deep seated, belligerent cultural bias such as this then attacking social activities designed to promote bias, such as this song, would be an effective way to do so.
A "national" anthem is meant to promote cultural hegemony. Cultural hegemony is what maintains an atmosphere in which individuals are confident that they can get away with extreme sexism.

maybe if we were discussing the american national anthem you'd have a point about fostering bad ideas but the canadian national anthem is completely meaningless and is as polite as the people themselves.
