Yeah, Ramen is big out here in LA. Not the top ramen crap, of course. Some places have an insane spicy meter. Like, some people would die from the spiciest, I'm pretty sure. f**k crazy people eat that shit (and I like spicy food!)

I also agree on mexican. Honestly, I can't even remember a pricey Mexican restaurant I've been to that surpassed the hole in the walls. Pricey usually means gringo version out in LA and San Diego.
