I'd also like to point out that if Boehner brings a Clean CR bill to the floor, it would pass with well over 300 votes.
yet somehow, people here are defending the tyranny of the minority. The Senate, president, and public support a clean CR as does a majority of House members (by a large margin). Yet somehow, we can't get a clean CR bill on the floor.

They can't get a clean bill to the floor because Bohner is frankly afraid. He would be bringing a bill to the floor that a majority of Republicans won't vote for... Many Republicans Reps would, and it would pass.. But the majority of the majority of the GOP in the House isn't in favor of it... And when it passed Bohner would probably lose his Speaker seat..
