Oh, I didn't make anything up. Not that my personal Christmas practices were relevant to begin with. You brought them up because your argument is stupid, and you know it, and you had to find a way to not answer a very simple question. I mean, seriously, step back and look at what you've said: saying Merry Christmas is an imposition because it is a cultural expectation.
...
What the f**k does that mean, Dharma? Because it sounds pretty much like you just saying things. What do people expect when they say Merry Christmas? How does this undefined expectation become an imposition? And finally, how would saying Happy Holidays versus Merry Christmas change the cultural domination of consumerism, lol?
For the love of God, say something that actually has substance. Your links are just basic Marxist theory, with no relevance to the discussion at all. Yes, the ruling class manipulates culture to create assumptions that benefit them. But as I've already pointed out, corporations - the arm of the ruling class - are the number one advocate of culture neutral language. Which just immediately destroys your argument, for obvious reasons.
