A couple of years we were looking at new vehicles, and at the time gas was on one of its almost $5 a gallon peaks, so we looked at hybrid/electric cars...
The Volt was by far the best one on the market. The Nissan Leaf is F'ing joke.. It only has a range about 90 miles before it has to be recharged, and since there are no charging stations around here it means I could only go about 45 miles from my home?!?!?! The Volt has a short electric range too, but because it also runs on gas it made much more sense the Leaf..
BUT the Volt is/was too pricey. At the time it had a couple of incentive tax breaks, but even with the breaks it was too pricey.
