So sad for my Saints.
What happened? Was it the Saints defense that failed? Nope - they intercepted Brady twice, once in the closing minutes.
Was it that the Pats offense was just too good? Nope, I didn't see much of anything that impressed me. They had more dropped passes than I could count.
Was it that the Pats defense was just too good? Nope, again, I didn't see much of anything that the Saints hadn't picked apart like a Thanksgiving turkey on other occasions.
Nope, the Saints offense just didn't have it. Specifically, Brees wasn't a himself. He couldn't get it to Graham at all. And, Graham wasn't getting open and catching the ball. Colston had one catch? Really? He's your premier wide receiver! Running game was OK, but the Saints just aren't a running team. And, there were a few questionable calls down the stretch by Peyton.
Well, there's goes a perfect season. It's OK, though, they'll still have homefield advantage in the playoffs.
While we're talking feeball, what about Texas! Holy crap!!!!
