I think Obamacare is a pretty stupid health care system, not because it goes too far, but because it didn't go far enough. Single-payer national healthcare is the only way you are going to get costs under control. Requiring people to buy insurance from for-profit insurance companies strikes me a bad attempt to compromise between stupidity and sanity, with the end result being a program that doesn't really satisfy anyone.

I hope you're right Winchester because as far as I can tell, what started out as a good idea basically became a handout to the insurance industry.
We should just quit wasting time, nationalize this thing and make it single-payer. Get it over with and let's move on. No more people having their lives destroyed by medical costs.
Yeah, yeah, OMG we do this and our country will become a hellhole like... Canada. Or England. Or Australia. Or Norway.
